Wu Lanlan

Ms. Wu graduated from the Faculty of International Economics and Law of China University of Political Science and Law in 1998. Immediately after graduation, she worked for a Chinese investment consulting firm for two years, where she handled civil and commercial cases, gave investment advice to clients, and offered a series of services such as proposal preparation, negotiation, litigation, and arbitration in connection with various agreements. As she gained experience in various fields, Ms. Wu got interested in international law practice and decided to study abroad to add a new dimension to her perspective. She chose Japan as the place for her post-graduate study because she always maintained her interest in the country, which was aroused when she won a prize in a calligraphy exhibition in Japan during her junior high school days. Ms. Wu graduated from Waseda University Graduate School of Law with a Master of Laws in 2005. Since joining the firm, Ms. Wu has been actively engaged in capital investment projects of Japanese companies in China by using her excellent language skills.

Bao Xiangyu

Attorney at Law Admitted in China

In 2001, Mr. Bao graduated from the Faculty of Law at Qinghai Nationalities University in China. After being in charge of legal affairs at an insurance company and a company that sells medical devices domestically in China, Mr. Bao went to the Graduate School of Law at Kyoto University in 2008 and obtained his Master’s degree in 2010. In 2011, he earned credit toward a Doctorate in commercial law at the Graduate School of Law at Kyoto University. That same year, he passed the bar exam. He entered the Beijing representative office at Takai Okazeri Law Firm in 2012 and later the Shanghai representative office of the same in 2017, while simultaneously holding a post at Zhongdun Law Office in Beijing. He began working at BEIJING L&L LAW FIRM in 2019, and primarily focuses on human resources management, corporate law/compliance surveys, foreign investment, M&A, franchises, and litigation and arbitration cases.
